The Rai Collar in BioThane was built for active dogs and demanding environments. There is a different dog and a different owner for whom the warmth and character of full-grain leather is the right choice. The Heritage Leather Collar is being built for them.
Full-grain leather ages differently than BioThane. It develops a patina. It softens and shapes to use over time. It carries the mark of its life in a way that synthetic materials do not. For the right dog and the right occasion, that is exactly the point.

Rai Collective is rooted in CHamoru and Pacific heritage. The latte stone, the Sinåhi crescent moon, the language and traditions of the people of Guåhan and the wider Pacific form the cultural foundation of everything we build.
Hawaiian culture brings its own depth to that foundation. The relationship between the Hawaiian people and the land, the ocean, and the creatures that share it is one of reciprocity and respect. These are not decorative references. They are intentions that shape the design from the inside out.
